Booking policy

Payment

You pay the full price of your move online when you book. Payments are taken securely by Stripe. Your date and your ShiftMe team are confirmed as soon as payment goes through, and there is nothing more to pay on the day unless you add extra work with us.

Moves outside London

Removals that start or finish outside London have an extra labour charge of 30p per mile for the full round trip, from London to your pickup, on to your new home and back to London. We'll let you know the exact amount after you book, and this remaining balance is due 2 days before your move.

Cancellations

If you cancel 7 or more days before your move, we'll refund your payment in full. If you cancel 3 to 6 days before, we'll refund half. Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice, or no shows, are non refundable.

Changing your date

Need a different date? You can move your booking once for free with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability. Just get in touch and we'll sort it.
